Cloude Monet is a French Imporessionist Artist. He was born in 14, November 1840, died in 6, desember 1926. He was the primary inspiration for impressionism movement most of his style was capturing the light of nature on canvas in a unique, spontaneous and vivacious way. He painted a huge range of subjects ranging from urban scenes to his own beloved beautiful garden. Monet strove to capture the root of what he saw in the nature, without being forced by normal ideas of style. At his home in Giverny, Monet created the water-lilies pond series. His popularity soared in the second half of the 20th century, when his works was wide spread the world in many museum exhibitions that attracted hight breaking record crowds and marketed popular commercial items featuring imagery from his art.
